Suspension of On Arrival Visa
As of 12th March 2020
The Government of Sri Lanka has decided to cancel the issuance of on arrival visas for all visitors until further notice.
Visitors needs to apply for a visa well ahead of travel to Sri Lanka in order to permit time for authorities to screen applicants. Applications can be made through the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) website here.
The Government has also appealed to the public to refrain from all non-essential travel.
